What should I bring to the photoshoot?
Specific details regarding your photoshoot will be discussed during the preparation period. This will include any particular equipment or clothing needed for the day. If you are on medication, note that sometimes the location will be far away from your hotel, and you may be required to bring your medicine with you.
If I bring my own kimono or dress, is there any discount?
If there is no need to rent a kimono or dress, then in most cases the savings associated with the rental will be passed on to you.
How long does the shooting take?
The length of the photoshoot will vary depending on the selected package and the location. We offer plans in half-day and full-day sessions. Please note that weather and travel times may also affect the time needed to complete the photoshoot.
Are there any cancellation fees?
Yes. Based on the estimated project costs, we may require a non-refundable deposit between 30% to 50% to cover cancellations.
Do you have a makeup/hairstylist?
Yes.
Can you hire a model for me?
Accompanying models are available as an option.
Will there be a female staff member there to assist me?
Yes. There will be at least one female staff member to assist you.
How many people can I have in a group?
Our packages are designed around a group of 2 people. Please inquire for larger groups.
Do you provide drone footage?
Yes, we will utilize drone cameras if required as part of the package.
If I show you sample photos or videos, will you be able to do something similar to those?
Yes. In fact, it is highly recommended to do so if you have samples of what you are looking for. Please note, however, that depending on the location and the cameraman’s style, we are sometimes unable to accommodate these requests.
How long is the video?
Depending on the package chosen, the video can be from 2 minutes to 5 minutes.
Can you add 3D or CG effects to the video?
Yes. We have a team of incredibly talented, award-winning CG artists who will make your video the best that it can be.
Can I have my own music in the video?
Custom music is available as an option.
How long does the editing process take?
On average, please allow up to 45 days between the shoot and delivery of the final product.
Can you take some photos with my own camera too?
In most cases, yes, but note that sometimes circumstances may prevent us from doing so.
Can I have all of the data used in the shoot?
Raw data is available as an option. Please consult with us beforehand.
My schedule is such that I will depart soon after the photoshoot. I do not need them to be edited, so can I have the data soon after the shooting?
In most cases, yes. Please inform us beforehand if this is to be the case.
Can I choose the location?
In most cases, yes. This will be brought up during the preparation period as part of your package selection.
In case of bad weather, are there any options or alternatives to the shooting location?
While we cannot guarantee the availability of alternatives, other options may be possible depending on circumstances.
How should I pay?
We accept PayPal or cash in Japanese yen.
When is the deadline for any changes to the time or the plan?
In order to best accommodate your request, please inform us no later than 30 days before the date of your scheduled photoshoot.
If my flight is delayed and I cannot make it at the appointed time, do I have to pay the cancellation fee?
Emergency circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible should this occur.
I lost the data to the final product. Can you resend it to me?
Past projects are usually retained for 3 years. If your data is still available we will be able to resend it.
Do you have a baby-sitting service?
We do not offer any baby-sitting services. We ask that you make prior arrangements for any children who are travelling with you before the photoshoot begins.
We will rent a car and drive ourselves. Is there any discount for not needing a ride?
Yes. If a taxi is not needed the savings are passed on to you.
Is there any accidental and injury insurance?
Please note that Meadow is not responsible for any personal injuries at all times. It is strongly recommended that you have adequate travel insurance.
I don’t speak Japanese. Will there be someone on site who I can talk to in case I have questions or concerns?
We currently offer our services in Japanese, English, and Cantonese. There will always be one person on site who can communicate in at least one of these languages.
